Oomūli feature guides
Home
Start your shift with your schedule, private tip journal and recent conversations.
Start your day
- Sign in and check the establishment name. Home shows information for the establishment you have selected.
- Select Home in the main navigation. On a phone, use the bottom navigation; on a large desktop, use the left sidebar.
- Read Your next shift for your next published assignment. Select View schedule to open Shifts and check the details.
Your administrator decides which establishment features you can use. A shift your manager has saved but not published will not appear as your next shift.
Pick up where you left off
- Select My Tips to record your tips and actual hours after a shift. These entries belong to your account; managers and coworkers cannot see them.
- Under Continue a conversation, select a conversation to open it in Chat. Or select Open Chat to choose another conversation.
- Open Activity to review recorded updates, such as schedule changes or invitations. Select an available item to open its details.
Activity and phone or email alerts are separate. An update can appear in Activity even if you did not receive an alert.
Get, revisit or print a manager briefing
- On Home, select Get briefing. This button appears only when you have access to management briefings. Your next shift card stays in its usual place.
- Oomūli opens your saved briefing for the current workday, or gathers permitted sources and prepares one automatically. Wait for Briefing ready.
- Read Needs attention, Since your last briefing and Coming up. Empty sections are hidden. Select Open followed by a record name to see its current details.
- Check the Updated time. Choose Refresh when you want a new snapshot. Sources and recorded totals is optional; expand it to inspect the totals and their limits.
- To revisit an older briefing, select Your saved briefings and choose its date and saved time.
- Choose Export / Print, then Export CSV or Print / Save as PDF. Select your device’s PDF destination to save a PDF.
Only permitted establishment tasks, inventory, incident records and published shifts are included. Personal tips and finances are excluded. OpenAI receives totals, not record names or descriptions.
The briefing shows up to 60 records per source. Open the original feature for all records. Coming up covers the rest of today and tomorrow. Since your last briefing compares saved records; it is not a complete audit history.
Briefings are personal snapshots. Source links open current records. Access is checked again when opening, exporting or printing.
If generation fails, choose Retry. If saving fails, choose Retry saving briefing; this retries the same save without another AI response. Existing briefing information and checklist progress are retained.
Check physical stock before ordering. Incident counts do not indicate severity or unresolved issues, and shift counts do not establish staffing shortages.
If something is missing
- Check the establishment name. Use Profile → Switch establishment if you belong to more than one workplace.
- If your next shift is missing, open Shifts and check the dates and filters. Ask your scheduling manager whether the shift has been published.
- If a feature is missing, ask your administrator to check your access. For an app error, open More or Tools & settings → Help & feedback and describe what happened.
Keep a briefing checklist with you
- In your briefing, choose Use as checklist. Each item refers to a specific record needing attention or coming up.
- Use Open record to see its current details. Mark the checkbox only when you have reviewed it. Opening a link does not mark it reviewed.
- Choose Put away or Close dialog when you want more room. Use the Briefing checklist button to reopen it from the establishment workspace or administration screens. The button shows your reviewed count.
- Use Export / Print to download the checklist as CSV or choose Print / Save as PDF. The report includes saved checkmarks. To return to an older checklist, open its saved briefing and choose Use as checklist again.
Your checklist is private to your account and establishment. Another manager has their own progress. Opening another briefing’s checklist replaces the shortcut, but keeps the previous checklist’s progress.
Checking an item does not complete a task, resolve an incident, change stock or publish a schedule. Those actions still happen in their own features.
Changed since review means relevant source information changed after you reviewed it. Resolved in source reflects the original record, such as stock rising above its minimum or a blocked task being completed. Reviewing alone does not resolve anything. Refresh the briefing to include new records.
If saving cannot be confirmed, Oomūli reloads the saved checkmarks. Check them before trying again. Reconnect and choose Refresh progress if needed. Current access to the briefing’s features is required to reopen, change or print the checklist.
