Tasks and checklists

See what needs doing, assign work and record what is finished or blocked.

Reviewed:

Find your work

  1. Open More on a phone or Tools & settings on a computer. Under Daily operations, select Tasks. Your establishment must have Tasks enabled and give you access.
  2. In Daily tasks, choose a Workday or select Today. Select Assigned to me to find your work, or Team to see the team view available to you.
  3. Read each task and its instructions. A checklist groups several duties, such as the steps for opening the bar.

The Workday filter changes what you see; it does not move a saved task to another date. Today uses the establishment’s timezone.

Finish a duty or ask for help

  1. Find the duty you completed and select Complete when that action is available to you. Check its saved status.
  2. If you cannot finish, select Blocked? Enter what is preventing completion and select Mark blocked. For example, “The sanitizer dispenser is empty.” Your note is visible to the team.
  3. Use Reopen if a completed duty needs more work. For a shared quick task, one assigned teammate’s completion updates the same task for everyone.

Assign a quick task

  1. With task management access, select New task. Enter Task title and any Instructions the team needs.
  2. Use Assigned team members to choose the responsible people, then set Workday. You can assign a shared quick task to more than one teammate.
  3. Review the title, people and date, then select Add task. The task appears for that workday.
  4. To correct it, use Edit task, make your changes and select Save task. Existing progress and activity stay with the task.

Create and assign a checklist

  1. Open Templates and select New template. Enter Checklist name and Checklist type, such as an opening or closing checklist.
  2. Enter each duty and its instructions. Use Add duty for more steps and the ordering controls to put them in the order your team works. Select Save template.
  3. Choose the template and select Use checklist. Choose one responsible teammate and a Workday, then select Assign checklist. This creates a fresh copy for that day.
  4. Use Reassign on an existing checklist to change its responsible teammate. To use it on another day, assign a new copy from Templates; check with your manager before duplicating work.

Editing a template changes future copies. It does not rewrite instructions in checklists that have already been assigned.

Download, print or save a PDF

  1. Choose Daily tasks, the Workday and Assigned to me or Team, or choose Templates. The report includes all records matching that view.
  2. Select Export / Print. Read Scope to check what is included, then review the record count and preview.
  3. Select Export CSV to download a file you can open in a spreadsheet app.
  4. Or select Print / Save as PDF. Choose a printer or Save as PDF in your browser’s print window, if your device offers it, and finish printing or saving.

The preview shows up to 50 records. Follow the stated scope for the full download or printout. Attachments are listed by name; download the files separately. Saved copies do not update when records change in Oomūli.

If a task is missing or will not save

  1. Check Workday and switch between Assigned to me and Team. Select Refresh. Ask a manager whether the checklist was assigned for this day.
  2. If a management or completion action is missing, ask your administrator to check your access. If the app says the item changed, keep your intended changes and review the latest saved version before retrying.
